Hi Laura,

Merry Christmas to you too and to your family and Bingo as well.

I completed a Yangtze River Cruise on the Victoria Jenna in October and had a terrific time. And now I have been back at work for some weeks now but the holiday is quite vivid in my memory. I had a very good time away and met some great people along the way too. I am sort of planning holidays for later next year some time but not quite sure what to do yet.

All the very best for next year and hope to catch up again one day.

Hi Tiger,

Everything went very well for the whole trip. Thanks you so much! I think December is a great time to do the Yangtze-few crowds and excellent attention from staff and guides. And we were upgraded to a Junior Suites (I assume because we had two rooms and were not part of a larger tour group).

Wishing you the very best for Christmas and 2015!

Warm regrads from all of us

Hi Olivia,

Finally we are home after 2 months on the road! The trip was wonderful experience but sort of tiring for us old folks.

Yes, the group really enjoyed the tour you put together. We all had a great time. Thanks for working hard to put the itinerary together. We truly appreciate your good work.

Overall the trip was a success. The group loved Zhangjiajie & Huangshan. The Yangtze Cruise scenery was absolutely wonderful & along the shore and village.

Bye for now & take good care.

Hi Olivia,

I’m back to Las Vegas, the entertainment capital of the world.

The tour services in Yichang & Chongqing were great. Both of them were very knowledgeable guides. So did your services. The cruise’s service is good and your tour arrangement is very well. I will definitely call on you or your company again on my next visit to China.

Thank you.

Dear Isabel,

Good day to China – we hope this e-mail finds you well.

First of all please accept our apologies for the late reply – we came back home on 01st November and as you can imagine a lot of work was/is waiting.

To give you a brief feedback as requested:

The cruise in general was a very nice experience and we really enjoyed the time. The vessel (Victoria Jenna) seems to be quite new – at least everything looked new and it was very clean. Also the entire crew was very friendly and always helpful – the service was great. Upon arrival we were offered an upgrade to the next higher category (from superior cabin to executive suite) which we took the advantage of.

There was a wide selection of different foods during the meals and it tasted good. The 3 optional excursions included to the trip were very interesting – we also went to one of the excursions on the first day to a tribe nearby the dam. We did not go on the other 2 excursions, mainly because unfortunately the weather was not that good. It was rather damp and cool and there was always a chance of rain. However, especially the excursion to the dam was very informative and impressive.

We really enjoyed the time.

With regards to your service: here again everything was fine and worked out perfectly as expected. So thank you for your support and made this cruise an interesting experience and a relaxing journey for us. We will definitely recommend you / your company to any friends that may visit China in the near future.

We hope this helps – should you have any doubts please do not hesitate to contact us again.

All the best from Munich / Germany

Hello Olivia,

Our China vacation time is over and we came back to Switzerland yesterday evening. The cruise was very interesting, although the weather was not very sunny, but we enjoyed it. We did not change our cabin, it was quite convenient, but we upgraded to the VIP dining room, to be in a much quiet ambiance for the meals. This was a good choice.

Cherry was waiting for us in Yichang and helped us to disembark. We went to the train station, where Cherry showed us where to wait for the train.

Dana, the guide in Chongqing was very good. She organized a nice visit of the city as planned, and helped us finding a bank, and organized embark on the ship. We were quite satisfied with her.

I would also like to thank you personally for your help and service, and the way you reacted always promptly to all our questions and requests. I appreciated it very much and you deserve our warmest congratulations for your service.

I don't know if we will come again to China, but then we will certainly consult your agency, which we will anyway recommend to anybody planning a cruise on the Yangtze River.

All the best,

Christian

Vegetarian Food
Hi, We are traveling in the cruise from 9 May. Is there any Indian vegetarian food. What are the other vegetarian options
2018-04-30 04:51
Hello Ravi,

Greetings from China! At present, there is no Indian vegetarian food served onboard Yangtze River cruise ships. However, the breakfast, lunch and dinner are almost arranged in buffet styles with about 3-5 vegetarian dishes, like cabbages, vegetables in season, vegetable and fruit salad, and so on, and some cruises prepare the dinner in Chinese sitting form with some specially cooked vegetarian dishes for guests. And if want, you could also pay extra to order some vegetarian food at the reception desk and tell the staff about your needs and eating habits, and the cruise chefs would prepare great food for your enjoyment. Besides, the Yangtze River ships serving foreign guests from the world have provided service to many vegetarian travellers and have gained rich experience and good reviews, so you can enjoy your dining time on the ship!

Wish you a wonderful Yangtze River sailing trip in May!

Should we worry about Motion Sickness
Just not sure if we should need motion sickness meds. We are on your cruise that departs from the Yichang Port for Yangtze River from April 24- April 27, 2017. Thank you so much

Dear Mary,

Thanks for taking a Yangtze River cruise with us. April is a great time with fine weather to enjoy the gorgeous scenery along Three Gorges.

No matter which ship you take, it will run very steady at a relatively slow speed. As you know, the construction of Three Gorges Dam controls the water level and flow velocity of Yangtze River that it will be steady to guarantee every ship to sail smoothly. Unlike the ocean cruise, there is no need to bring motion sickness meds for travelers who on Yangtze River cruise. If your physical condition are seasick easily, take some just in case. And no worry, there is a clinic onboard who will serve at any time.

Wish you have a nice journey!
