Wonderful highlights like Three Gorges and Three Gorges Dam can all be found in this section. Such a cruise journey needs about 4~5 days.
Sometimes there may also have cruise ships travelling between Chongqing and Shanghai, which take about 10~11 days and make stops at Wuhan, Nanjing, etc. However, there are only two such in-depth cruise trips a year (no fixed time), while the classic Chongqing Yichang cruises can be found almost every day.

Thank you for the good question. Usually, to some extent, Kuimen Gate (夔门) in Fengjie County is known as the “west gateway to the Three Gorges”, where you could enjoy the super splendid and magnificent view of the Qutang Gorge which is the first section of the Three Gorges. During your Yangtze River cruise, you could visit Kuimen Gate during the optional shore excursion to the White Emperor City that needs extra charge.
Wish you a wonderful cruise experience on the Yangtze!
