1. What about tipping on cruise ships?

Tipping is a matter of personal preference. Additional tips for any staff member who has provided a special service are at your decision. Tips to shore excursion guides are also at your decisions.

2. How much should I pay the porters when I embark and disembark?

If you purchase a package tour from us and have transfer services to and from the cruise, you do not need to pay unless you want tip them. Your guide will pay portage to them.

3. What does my cruise fare include?

Generally, the cruise fair includes accommodations on twin sharing-basis, daily meals and shore excursion programs. It excludes personal expenses, like laundry, phone calls, internet, etc.

4. How do I pay for my cruise? Can I pay in Chinese currency?

You can pay by Chinese currency but it needs to be paid before you arrive. You need to pay for your cabins in advance before you board the ship. Your pre-payments are required.

6. Can I know the assigned cabin for me now? So that I can assure myself that I got the best cabin according to my booking?

Generally, the travel agency cannot assure you that you will get the exact cabin you want in advance because the cruise company informs them your cabin assignment only 2 or 3 days prior to the scheduled departure.

7. Must I pay in the Chinese Currency?

No, you do not need to pay in Chinese Currency, and you can also pay in US dollars or others.

8. What kind of stuff I have to pay onboard?

Your cruise ticket includes accommodations, meals, and shore excursion programs. You have to pay for the other stuffs, such as, clinic service, salon, laundry, calls, etc.

9. What currency is used onboard? Is there currency exchange service?

Generally, there are no cash transactions onboard. Instead a tally of expenses is kept for each passenger. Before disembarkation, passengers are required to pay their bills by major currencies, like US dollars, British pounds, Euro, Chinese Yuan or major credit cards, such as VISA, MasterCard, or American Express. There is a currency exchange service available at the reception desk.
