How are you doing?

We really enjoyed the Yangtze River cruise that you arranged for us in May 2025. And very happy to your recommendation of Miss Winnie, the team leader of Legend cruise. She’s really very good, just like you.

This time, we’re looking into Harbin tour at end of this year. We are planning to visit Harbin at the end of December for a five day visit.

Could you arrange that for us and could you suggest an itinerary. We do not want to participate in skiing or winter sports but rather to see the ice festival. We would prefer to begin a visit on the 28th of December and return to Malaysia on 2 January 2026. We require an English speaking guide and would prefer to have at least four star hotels. We prefer traveling in a small group not more than 8 people.

We will be leaving from Penang Malaysia, and returning there at the end of the tour.

Hello Jack,

I'm back home in Canada after a memorable stay in the wonderful country of China. The Yangtze River cruise aboard the Century Legend was beyond my expectations. I was the only Westerner on board, but the welcome I received from the crew members, and especially from the passengers, deeply touched me, and I will never forget them. Our daily excursions to the various sites (museums, temples, mountains, etc.), accompanied by bilingual guides (English/Chinese) who were always on the lookout for my understanding of the explanations given in Chinese, were greatly appreciated. I am still overwhelmed by it. I would like to point out to anyone reading this that I am 72 years old and that my 26-day trip to China: Beijing, Chongqing, and the 11-day Yangtze (Century Legends) cruise to Shanghai, was one of the most beautiful trips I have ever taken. Thank you for your excellent advice. I sincerely hope to be able to make the return trip from Shanghai to Chongqing in a few years.

We enjoyed everything about the trip. The guides and drivers were excellent and very knowledgeable, with perfect English.

The cruise was wonderful. Full of interesting passengers from many places and such fabulous staff. The staff went out of their way to make our trip comfortable and enjoyable.

Finally, the scenery was stunning, the shore excursions interesting and informative and the ship itself very spacious and relaxing.

Thank you for all your help and we'll be calling on you again when we next come to China in 2026!

We are back to Australia. and we totally enjoyed our cruise. Food offered on board and during land excursions were excellent. Land excursions are quite comprehensive.

Thank you so much for reaching out. I apologize for the delay, we have been very busy in our last few weeks of our China trip.

In regards to feedback for the 12-day cruise, it was fantastic. We were the only people on the boat who didn't speak Chinese and yet we felt so welcome and included. The staff (whether they spoke any English or not) went out of their way to treat us with kindness and incredible hospitality. One of the cruise managers, Leila, often came and interpreted for us exclusively while the other cruise manager was explaining things in Chinese. The tours were fantastic. We were able to learn so much about the different areas that we visited and every location was beautiful. And the food! Everything we ate was delicious. The chefs did an amazing job in providing wonderful food for every meal.

We have one very strange request. Whilst on the boat, there was a sauce there called noodle companion. If you could put us in touch with anyone who might know the recipe, we would be so grateful. We've been trying to find it on our whole trip through China because it was so delicious.

All in all, this was amazing experience and one of the best things we did in China. Thank you again for helping us organize it and please let us know if there's anything else you need from us.

Good morning Samantha. Yes we are enjoying the cruise, learning a lot about Chinese culture and cuisine. The weather however, is not cooperating. It's been cloudy, windy, cool and wet, not good for picture taking.

-April 17, 2024-

Weather was very bad in Jiujiang yesterday, so we had a very short excursion and couldn't see the real face of Lushan. Then it got worst as the ship couldn't set sail until this morning and missed Chizhou and Mount Jiuhua entirely. But it's what it is. No body can control the weather.

-April 21, 2024-

Sorry for the late reply. Sunrise was very nice and checked us into a nice room at 8:30 am. It's been a while since we were in Shanghai, and it is a wonderful, clean city that's very vibrant.

It has been sunny and warm the last four days.

It was a great tour! The staff on the boat were so nice and helpful! The accommodations were excellent. The food was so good. If I had one complaint it would just be how rushed everything is when you visit things off the boat. I understand why and know there is a busy schedule but it was so rushed to me. Sorry it took so long to answer. I had no mobile data all day.

The only place I felt it was really crowded was at the Fengdu Ghost City. Everywhere else had people but not too bad at all for China.

I saw some places were really busy. I heard a lot of people are traveling again. I have a lot of friends who have shown some interest in my cruise. When they ask me for more info about booking the cruise I will definitely send them your contact card. I will put some pictures on WeChat tonight. So many want to see some. That will help I think.

We are happy with the services provided. You are a response person. You communicated with us frequently and made sure our requirements are met. The quotations provided are clear & reasonable, the payment instructions are clear.

Overall, we are happy with the services arranged.  Because it was a lot easier to get to the faraway places with the organised driver and guide, rather than we have to organise it ourselves at the risk of being ripped off, or given a bum steer.

I just got back last week, Gmail was hard to open in China.

I am very happy with the tour arrangements, and I am glad that I have you and Mr Jim as local guide. My dad and I had a pleasant day in Chongqing before boarding the cruise in the evening and Mr Jim has managed to fulfilled our requests.
