    Clothing
Are there any specific dress requirements for men and women while on the ship.we are on the ship in may and want to be appropriate.specifically the captains dinner
    2017-04-05 19:25
    Hi Wayne zack,

Thanks for your question. Usually dressing code for captain\'s welcome and farewell party is not very formal. Such as, suite, tie, evening dress, etc. are not strictly required. You can dress as comfortable as possible to enjoy your cruise tour, but too casual clothes like jeans, round-neck shirts, shorts, slipperier, and so forth are better to avoid.

Hope you enjoy the trip on President No.8 Cruise!

    Dear Jan,

Thanks for your question. The weather in this April is very pleasant and the temperature is around 13℃~26℃. It may sometimes sunny and cloudy, sometimes occur light rain with breeze. You\'d better take some medium coats, thin sweater, jeans, comfortable shoes, raincoat and umbrella, etc.

Wish you a nice journey on President No.8 Cruise!
    Late October weather
We will be cruising late October 2018. What will the weather be like? I have read fog may be an issue. Is it all day or just in the morning?
    2017-11-13 07:10
    Hi Joanne,

Thank you for the question. It is autumn season during October at the Yangtze River region, when is the best time to savor the sightseeing of the river and the Three Gorges. For your cruise during the late October, the weather is comfortable, and during night, it is a little cold. And there may be some fog but usually occurs in the morning. For your body health, it is recommended to bring some warm clothes like sweaters, coats, and long pants for your excursion visits and time on the Sun Deck. However, the whole President No. 8 cruise has central air conditioner with a temperature at about 26℃, so you would feel warm and comfortable when stay in your room, restaurant, and other public areas onboard. As the weather changes, you could follow the weather report before you go.

Wish you a nice cruising experience in China!
