Welcome to Beijing, the capital of China, rich in history and culture.
Your lifetime China tour begins with welcome from your local guide at the Beijing airport. Then be escorted to your hotel in a private vehicle. The rest of today is yours to acclimatize or explore the vast metropolis on your own.

Today's tour begins to visit the Tiananmen Square, the world's largest plaza. Walking through Tiananmen Gate, you'll enter the splendid Forbidden City, China's No.1 palace complex adorned with imperial treasures.
In the afternoon, you'll marvel at the Temple of Heaven where the emperors worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest.
After the tour, back to your hotel.
This morning tour will take you to size up the world-famous Great Wall (Badaling section), the key symbol of China. Flexible visiting time allows you to enjoy a lifetime trekking trip (1-2 hours' hiking), or witness the breathtaking views of this man-made wonder by taking a cable car.
After the Wall visit, you'll explore the Ding Tomb of Ming Imperial Tombs. On the way back to the city, you can make a stop at the Beijing Olympic Village to take some pictures of the world-famed "Bird’s Nest" and the "Water Cube" from the outside.
In the evening, try the flavorful dish of Peking Roast Duck Dinner (Optional).
After breakfast, you will visit the Summer Palace leisurely to enjoy exquisite layout of this royal garden within ancient pavilions, temples and bridges.
After the trip, you will go to the train station to take a hight speed train to Xian.
Once arrival in Xian, your tour guide will pick you up, and escort to your hotel. The rest time of today is free for you to explore this ancient historical city on your own.
Today your first stop is to join the ranks of the incredible Terracotta Warriors, the forbidding sentinels of a death defying emperor, starting out through the silent millennia of history.
In the afternoon, visit the Ancient City Walls, the largest and best-kept city walls on earth. Strolling on the Walls is quite an enjoyable experience. Today’s tour ends to visit the Bell Tower, a famous landmark of Xian ancient city.
Options: You can rent a bike and cycle on the wall or have a local dumpling dinner and enjoy the famous Tang Dynasty Show.
Today after breakfast, you'll visit the Great Mosque, a tranquil and historic mosque that has served Xian's Muslim community for more than a millennium. By the way, you'll stop by the Muslim Community.
Then head to the age-old Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the symbol of the old-line Xian, a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists.
After lunch, be transferred to the airport and take a flight to Chengdu (1 hour and 20 minutes), the hometown of Giant Pandas. Be met and transferred to your hotel by the local guide and the rest of today is free at your leisure.
Today you will first have a visit to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, where you can explore the daily life of the cute pandas, and get close to the lovely creatures. After happy hours with pandas, drive to Wenshu Temple, a typical ancient monastery of Qing Dynasty in downtown Chengdu, where you can see local prayers worshiping and lighting incense.
After lunch, you will visit Renmin Park to experience the most authentic Chengdu local life. Having a cup of tea in a traditional teahouse, watching the local old couples dancing, joining in the locals to play mahjong or cards in a teahouse...You will enjoy typical leisurely lifestyle of Chengdu. In the late afternoon, you will move on to Jinli Old Street, one of the oldest streets to appreciate the local snacks and artifacts.
At the end, your guide will escort you to your hotel.
In the morning, you’ll be escorted to train station by high-speed train to Chongqing, about 2 hours. Be met at train station and take a half tour in Chongqing. Your will visit Ciqikou Old Town, which was a Chongqing's old harbor and was once the home of many of Chongqing's rich merchants. Also pay a visit Eling Park for a bird's eye view of the whole city.
Then, you'll be transferred to the Cruise pier, and board the ship in the late afternoon. Your lifetime Yangtze River Cruise starts in Chongqing. (Note: the boarding time changes based on the cruise ships, season, water level, weather, etc.)
Take shore excursion to Shibaozhai Pagoda. Shibaozhai, like a pearl on Yangtze River, is 278 kilometers away from Chongqing. As the gem of Chinese Architecture, the 12-story, 18th Century red wooden temple is an architectural delight full of Legends and beautiful stories.
Please Note: Some cruise ships make the shore excursion to the Fengdu Ghost City. Reach the top of Ming Mountain to check why it has been regarded as the "City of Ghosts". It is where the devil lives according to Chinese legend. The temples shows punish instruments and demon paintings, depicting the Chinese people’s imagination of hell. Shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges by smaller vessels.
The Lesser Three Gorges, like a shining pearl hiddden in remote mountains, are much smaller, narrower and have some dramatic scenery to offer. That is the most splendid river adventure throughout China for you.
Note: Some cruise ships make the shore excursion to the Shennong Stream. Shennong Stream is a collection of local culture. The nature scenery, boat tracker, local sampan, ancient hanging coffins, unique ethnic minority Tujia culture… all is worth your exploration. Today's highlight is your morning excursion to the world-famous Three Gorges Dam. Be prepared for your check-out procedure and the ship will arrive in Yichang at about 12:00. Our guide will expect you on board and visit the Yichang Museum if time permits.
Later, take take the 2-hour D-train from Yichang to Wuhan. After arriving in Wuhan, the local guide will pick you up at the train station and escort you to the hotel. Stay overnight in Wuhan.
After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. You first stop is Guiyuan Temple. First built in the early Qing Dynasty, Guiyuan Temple is one of the four biggest temples for Buddhist meditation in Hubei as well as an important Buddhist temple in China.
Later, head to the Heptachord Terrace (Guqin Tai), located on the south bank of Moon Lake, near the western foot of Tortoise Hill. It is the beautiful site with great layout where you could appreciate the sincere friendship between Yu Boya and Zhong Ziqi in Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 B.C.).
Lastly, transfer to Yellow Crane Tower, one of the most renowned towers south of the Yangtze River. It enjoys the fame of “The First Scenery under Heaven”. And its cultural significance led to its being made the symbol of Wuhan City.
After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. Today, you’ll first visit Hubei Provincial Museum. Founded in 1953, Hubei Provincial Museum has 6.5 hectares with 200,000 exquisite items include bronze, jade and lacquer work, porcelain and paintings. You can enjoy a performance of chime bells, stone chimes and other ancient instruments. The museum is a window to explore Chinese history.
After the tour, transfer to train station for high speed train to Guilin (around 5 hours). Stay overnight in Guilin.
After breakfast, you'll be driven to Zhujiang Pier to cruise the Li River, a must-do for any Guilin tourists and a mile-long natural gallery.
This was what Bill Clinton said: 'I heard of the name of Li River long ago. Today I visit Li River. It is more vivid and genuine than what I thought before. Nowhere is like Guilin. It makes me think of the traditional Chinese paintings.'
After about 4 hours cruise, disembark at Yangshuo, the paradise of Guilin. Check in your hotel, the rest of today is free to explore Yangshuo and find out why West Street is so popular among tourists.
Being driven back to Guilin after breakfast (1.5~2 hrs), and have an essential Guilin city tour. The first stop surely is the Elephant Trunk Hill, the city symbol. Then head to visit the fabulous Reed Flute Cave to see the beautiful stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, and stone flowers with various shapes.
After the tour, be escorted to the airport for your flight to Shanghai, the most cosmopolitan city of China. Upon your arrival, transferred to your hotel in Shanghai in private vehicle.
After breakfast, you'll visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, a must-see for all true Shanghainophiles to witness how Shanghai became a cosmopolitan city from a shabby fishing village.
Then walk leisurely around the beautiful Yu Garden, a pleasant enough, well-contained classical Chinese garden, and savor some local flavor snacks at the Yu Garden Bazaar.
Later to visit the French Concession to appreciate its old French-style villas and special colonial culture. In the evening, enjoy the breathtaking Acrobatic Show. (Optional)
After breakfast, head to the famous Bund to witness Shanghai’s skyline, and stroll along China's No.1 shopping street, Nanjing Road.
Then ascend the Jinmao Tower to get an amazing bird’s eye view of this metropolis. Then continue to Jade Buddha Temple to admire the largest jade Buddha in the world and exquisite religious artifacts.
After the tour, be transferred to the airport for your flight to next destination or back to home.
Mt.Huangshan is located on the south side of Yangtze River, well known for its scenery, sunsets, peculiarly- shaped granite peaks, pine trees, and views of the clouds from above. Huangshan is a frequent subject for traditional Chinese paintings and modern photography. It is now one of the major tourist destinations in China.
