Shanghai - Chongqing Yangtze Three Gorges Cruise Line - One of Six Popular Cruise Itineraries

Day : Arrival in Jiangyin or Changshu Boarding and depart
Day 2: Today will be spent in Nanjing City. Tour Nanjing including Sun Yat-Sen Mausoleum and a Qing Dynasty style Bazaar
Day 3: Arrival in Guichi, Shore excursion to Yellow Mountain or Jiuhuashan (Mountain of the Nine Lotuses)
Day 4: Arrival in Wuhan, Shore excursion to Wuhan, visit the Hubei Provincial Museum
Day 5: Arrival in Guichi, shore excursion to "Yellow Mountain" or Jiuhuashan (Mountain of the Nine Lotuses)
Day 6: Arrival in Yichang, Sailing through Gezhouba Dam; Visit Three Gorges Dam; Pass through Three Gorges Dam Ship lock
Day 7: Arrival in Wushan, Sail through Wu Gorge, excursion to Daning River and Lesser Three Gorges
Day 8: Arrival in Fengdu, Shore excursion to Fengdu
Day 9: Disembarking in Chongqing

Cities & Attractions along Shanghai and Chongqing Cruise Line
- Fengdu Ghost City –"City of Ghost" due to the mountain Ming Shan dedicated to the afterworld with statues of ghosts and devils as well as graphic wax depictions of life in hell.
- The Three Gorges–The river snakes through the triad, Qutang Xia (gorge), Wu Xia and Xiling Xia, which are phenomenal, extending nearly 120 miles through sheer precipices interspersed with wide valleys.
- Qutang Gorge–The shortest, rockiest and most narrow of the three
- Wu Gorge–Sail around the twelve peaks of the Wu Mountains, creating a diverse and whimsical landscape
- Xiling Gorge–Known for its uniquely shaped rock formations with quirky names like Ox Liver, Horse Lungs and Yellow Cat. This used to be the most dangerous part of the journey before rocks were removed in the 1950s.
- Lesser Three Gorges - Cruise up the Daning River past the cliffs of Longmen Xia and wild monkeys
- Three Gorges Dam –This marvel of engineering is harnessing the power of the Yangtze for energy and curbing the river's tendency to flood. Unfortunately the project has also caused the relocation of thousands of people, the moving and flooding of numerous cultural sites and environmental damage
- Wuhan City–Wuhan is the largest city in the central China. It is situated on the Jianghan Plain, a river-crossed fertile land, which is created by the Hanjiang River joining China's great Yangtze River in this area.
- Huangshan Mountain – well known for its interesting shaped rocks, waterfalls, unique shaped pine trees growing out of rocks, and views of the clouds from above.
- Nanjing –Lying on the south bank of the Yangtze River, it enjoys a favorable geographical location so as to boast of numerous famed historical and cultural relics and picturesque landscape, which helps it win the reputation of one of the most attractive destinations for the tourists.
- Shanghai - Shanghai is the most developed city in China. It is a hot tourist destination renowned its fascinating mixes of East & West, ancient & modern.
