Yangtze Three Gorges Dam Transportation


The world famous Yangtze Three Gorges Dam site is 27 miles upstream from Yichang City, at Sandouping Town. It is 38 kilometers upstream from the Gezhouba Dam Lock, very convenient to get there by ship from the cities along Yangtze River.

By Ships

By Buses

There is an express way connecting the Three Gorges dam site with Yichang, so if you do not want to take an entire China Yangtze River cruise, you just need to take buses from Yichang to have a look at the famous Three Gorges dam site.
