Fly to the Holy Land Lhasa from Chengdu. In Lhasa city, you’ll visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery and more holy sites.
Fly to the ancient capital Xian and visit Terracotta Warriors, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Ancient City Wall and enjoy the dumpling dinner in a fine restaurant.
Fly to Beijing from Xian and explore the capital of China by visiting Great Wall of China, Summer Palace, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and Ming Tombs.

Welcome to Shanghai, the Oriental Paris in China! Upon arrival, your guide will meet you at the airport/train station or cruise port. A comfortable vehicle (non-smoking) with an experienced driver will transfer you directly to your hotel. The guide will help you check in. The rest of today is on your own to explore the west-meet-east city.

Today you will first visit the magnificent Yu Garden. Right out of the Yu Garden, you can observe local people's life at the Yuyuan Market (Yu Garden Market). Proceed to the Temple of Jade Buddha.
Take a stroll or shop in the famed Nanjing Road and then down to the Bund alongside the Huangpu River to explore the modern aspect of Shanghai. Drive to the Pudong New Area to enjoy a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower.
Today will visit the People's Square and the Shanghai Museum. Then after the lunch, you will be escorted to the airport and take the flight to Yichang.
After Yichang arrival, our guide will take you to visit Yichang Museum if time permits. And then be transferred to the cruise pier, and board your ship in the late afternoon. Your lifetime Yangtze cruise starts! (Note: the boarding time changes based on the cruise ships, seasons, water level, weather, etc.)
Today's onboard activities include: Taichi exercise in the morning; shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam Site, the world-famous project; Captain's Welcome Banquet at 18:00; Evening entertainment at 20:00 to enjoy the Chinese folk dancing and music performance.
Three Gorges Dam Site on the Yangtze has been a dream for generations and is one of the largest construction projects ever undertaken by mankind. This great dam, the biggest hydropower project in the world, provides China with tremendous power generation and flood control service.
Shore excursion to Shennv Stream by smaller vessels. Shennv Stream, called Goddess Stream, is reputed as the Original Virgin Valley of Yangtze where you could see extraordinary view.
Note: Some cruise ships make the shore excursion to the Shennong Stream. Shennong Stream is a collection of local culture. The nature scenery, boat tracker, local sampan, ancient hanging coffins, unique ethnic minority Tujia culture… all is worth your exploration. You have the final say on which excursion to make, as we can book any of the cruise ships at great rates!
Take shore excursion to Shibaozhai Pagoda. Shibaozhai, like a pearl on Yangtze River, is 278 kilometers away from Chongqing. As the gem of Chinese Architecture, the 12-story, 18th Century red wooden temple is an architectural delight full of Legends and beautiful stories.
Please Note: Some cruise ships make the shore excursion to the Fengdu Ghost City. Reach the top of Ming Mountain to check why it has been regarded as the "City of Ghosts". It is where the devil lives according to Chinese legend. The temples shows punish instruments and demon paintings, depicting the Chinese people’s imagination of hell. You have the final say on which excursion to make, as we can book any of the cruise ships at great rates!
You will disembark in Chongqing at around 9:00am, and your local tour guide will meet and escort you to visit Ciqikou Old Town, which was a Chongqing's old harbor and was once the home of many of Chongqing's rich merchants. Also can visit Erling Park for a bird's eye view of the whole city.
Then, you'll be escorted to the train station by high-speed train to Chengdu, about 2 hours. Upon arrival, be transferred to your hotel by the local guide. The rest of the day is free on your own to explore this city in a relaxing pace.
After breakfast, you guide will pick you up at your hotel. On this day, you will visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, followed by a trip to the Wenshu Temple where you can spend some time sitting in its tea house enjoying a cup of traditional Chinese tea and absorb the special atmosphere of Chengdu and Jili Old Street.
Today after breakfast, you’ll be escorted to the airport to take the flight to Lhasa. After Lhasa arrival, you'll be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Lhasa. The rest of today is free to acclimatize yourself to the high altitude in the afternoon.

Jokhang Temple (or Jokhang Monastery), situated at the heart of the old town of Lhasa, is the spiritual center of Tibet and the holiest destination for all Tibetan pilgrims, as well as a prime seat of the Gelugpa of the Tibetan Buddhism.
Explore the Drepung Monastery up on the hillside, experience wonderful views of the whole of Lhasa city on the roof of the hillside, visit Norbulingka - the summer palace of Dalai Lamas, and enjoy interesting "Buddhism Scriptures Debating" at the Sera Monastery.
Today is free until your guide will pick you up and escort you to the airport and take the flight to Xian from Lhasa.
After arriving in Xian, our local guide will meet and transfer you to the hotel in Xian. Rest of the day is free to explore the hidden gems of the ancient center.

In the morning be picked up at your hotel then driven to the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses; the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, It is one of the most popular tourist spots not to be missed by any visitor to China. After lunch, move on to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Ancient City Wall;

After check in and having a short rest, you will marvel at the splendid Summer Palace, the former royal garden, it is the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. After the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel.
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at your hotel. Firstly you will visit the world's biggest city plaza, Tiananmen Square (literally, Gate of Heavenly Peace). Subsequently you will move on to the Forbidden City, the most complete imperial palace in China.
After having Chinese lunch, you'll visit the Temple of Heaven - the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world where the ancient Emperors prayed for peace and harvest.
After breakfast, drive to the Badaling Great Wall (about 80 km, 1.5hours) where you will experience at first hand the wonder of the Great Wall. For lunch you'll sample some delicious fare in a local restaurant. Afterwards, visit the Sacred Way and Changling, one of the Ming Tombs; on the way back to your hotel, you might make a stop at the Beijing Olympic Village to take some photos of the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube from the outside.
In the evening, enjoy a Peking Roast Duck dinner that you will complete today's tour!
